What's the best way to test product market fit with meta ads? Should I just create a simple landing pages? Any recommendations on approaches here? Thanks!

I always launch with a landing page before I have a product. Another thing I have wanted to do (will defo do for my next one) is to make them pay an amount (and refund later + maybe Amazon gift in exchange for a call with you).

Getting emails through ads is easier but getting them to make a payment is very tough.

Do you have product on hand or are you testing a concept? I just completed a concept test for a supplement. DM if you want!

@Saptarshi Nath what landing page software do you use? How long does it take to create a mock up?

What metrics do you look for to see if you have something with at least some legs?

I’ve used almost all landing page software so far. Currently, I’m a fan of Framer (checkout my current website built on Framer).

So far, I’ve been using number of signups on the landing page.

Specific to DTC, I’ve done this before:
• Create a Shopify landing page with just one SKU (I used Magento back in the days, but Shopify is better now if you’re getting started). Framer now has a Shopify integration, so you can use that for your landing pages too.
• See how many people go through to checkout steps, enter their email etc. If you have the product ready, feel free to sell it or mark it as OOS and ask users to sign up for a notification when it’s back in stock.
• Create separate versions of the landing page to see what messaging works.
