Probably should post here :)

- Build a community
- Do product drops in limited quantities Going to have to sort out back end but this is the only way long term when it comes to moat buliding.

@Peter Quadrel the only way? Why? Seems like you'd be constantly on this hamster wheel of new product dev, instead of scaling

I’m being satirical here, but in this case for glasses you’re competing on brand or style basically, unless you invent some revolutionary lens. You’ll find brands who have grown the fastest in the past 3 years in highly competitive niches like this, who don’t have a technical edge typically grow with limited drops to drive demand (lower sitting inventory, increased cash flow) and leverage a community to drive traffic, this has not really been done with glasses yet so would be a bigger arb than trying to make better quality/more stylish glasses than the next mass producer.
This is cool till $3m/y then it’s better to switch models and I don’t think there is a faster way to grow right now unless your product is godly.

@Peter Quadrel Thanks for explaining, this is helpful! Seems like a good approach for bootstrappers. When you say "community"--are we talking email list, discord, social media following...? And is paid media still part of the strategy?

100% for bootstrappers. FB group, discord, Slack, branded whitelabel software doesn’t matter, just need to own the audience. Paid ads come in after organic traction. @Brian Donlin
