Does anyone have anything to share about which countries they will not ship to? Why? How did you determine the list? Context: Shopify Plus, DHL Express for all international shipments, shipping from USA, mostly footwear, shipping a mix of DDU and DDP. Thanks in advance!
In my experience it’s usually a function of what your carrier will service and localization efforts (ie language barriers, delivery preferences, customer service support, returns policy, payment preferences, etc)
DHL will support something like 60-70% of the countries on earth.
DHL seems to have gotten parcels to every country I've attempted in a relatively efficient manner - even far-flung places from Ireland like Bahrain, Malawi, Uruguay, Mexican west coast... If customers are willing to pay the extra cost - then there's no reason not to include ?
International post is another story however....have tried and failed for a number of different countries
