I've had the most success with https://www.heap.io/. It's really easy to set up, also easy to maintain custom event tracking without needing a developer. Also, their dashboards and reports are really flexible and customizable.

thanks - is it built into shopify as an app and has out of the box ability to pull reports?

for example, if i want to see revenue driven for product a from mobile vs desktop - do we need to build any events, or would a report like that come out of the box?

@Mark H - yes, they have a shopify app, although their customer service team is amazing so the past 2-3 times I've implemented Heap I've worked with their team to get it up and running and it's always been really seamless.

They have quite a few events that are available OOTB (revenue, device segmentation and product details - as long as it's set up in a standard way in Shopify), should all be available without needing customization.

Mark by analytics you mean Customer LTV and all?
