SCALING FB ADS: Looking for advice
My company was spending about $300 a day with a CPP I was relatively happy with until we went out of stock last month.
We get new stock in mid-April. Planning to increase spend to $500 daily by end-April, and $900 in May.

I’ve heard it’s best to increase by 20% WoW the best campaigns in order to optimize the algotrithm and it’s risky to jump from $0 ad spend to $500 a day. The account will destabilize. Is this true?

Here are how I see my options: What would you do?
a) Run ads at $300 a day even though we are mostly out of stock, but will allow us to jump back up to $500 in April (will we risk a bad account score?).
B) Or pause ads until more stock comes in? and if so, should I keep spending $300 bucks a day even though we are mostly out of stock?
c) Something i’m not thinking of?

Id only run ads now if you can communicate the delay in shipping OR as a “pre order” on the landing page/PDP.

re: increasing budgets - i’ve managed accounts where we jumped from $500/day to $5k/day in a matter of days and performance held.

I think your spend is still too low for it to matter. The only** reason your ads would crap out a higher spend is if theyre just not good enough to handle scale (ie. appeal to a big enough group of people)

Would recommend collecting pre orders, or money down to reserve an order or at the very least an email be to the first to know type call to action.

Just be clear about shipping times and refund policy on landing page.

Mentioning out of stock/pre order in the headline can help to set expectations.

Offering something as a sort of “sorry for the wait” can be great too.

You won’t get a bad account score as long as you communicate.

If you can setup systems to mention out of stock and follow up with emails and automation to communicate updates then keep running ads

However I would still decrease budget slowly till about 60% of present
