Paying 3PL Hourly: Has anyone paid a 3PL hourly? My friend runs our wharehouse and she asked me to switch from pick and pack fee to hourly because it will be easier for her. I would much rather pay a pick and pack fee. Any advice?

We performed RFPs for different brands and find them 3PLs. Never have I seen an hourly rate.

I have never heard of hourly either but (without much information on your contract and other fees) I'd think once you are doing larger order volume, I would think this may be in your best interest?

Dollar Fulfillment does an hourly rate. Sounds odd but it works for them

If your products are easy to pack / box is easy to fold, I think you would be better hourly vs per unit. Can you ask for an audit of how many per hour? And compare if you see how many you could get through in an hour?
