Hi! I recently discovered that Shopify has not paid me out for almost $60k of Shop Pay Installments. I'm recommending any merchant using Shop Pay Installments check their payouts because this might be a larger issue.
After doing a deeper dive on Shop Pay Installments, I turned it off completely given the margin hit and also the real risk that they might not pay me out.
I'm sharing this as a heads up to everyone here to check your payouts. 👀
That's interesting! Mind if I screenshot this and send it to some folks at Shopify? Want them to know that there's this issue.
Yes, please. I'm working on it with my Shopify Plus rep but Shopify is telling me they are having trouble getting Affirm to respond. 🙃

Wow. Does it show in your reports those payments were not deposited?
If you look at the order Timeline, you can see there is not a payout connected with the order. That would be the first line of defense: check 10 random orders that paid with Shop Pay Installments and see if it was added to a payout in the timeline.
Ok, I am not actually sure how to pull up the orders that used installments. Can you share how you are finding them?
Ah, was able to pull them up in Reports -> Net payments by gateway
Nice! OK, I was going to say I discovered this issue via my accounting app and they generated the list for me. Then when I clicked into those orders I could see the missing payout. But you can also use a report in Shopify.
Affirm stock is way down today, maybe youre on to something 😂
