Does anyone have experience managing your brand's reputation on Reddit? There is an old post from a disgruntled customer, since resolved positively, that continues to get the top spot on Google 😔
we responded professionally within the thread, but the negative headline prevails...
Hi Valerie,
On top of my head, I see two options without involving Reddit customer service:
1. Respond again in the thread with a detailed follow-up highlighting how you resolved the issue. Be transparent and focus on your commitment, this usually resonates with reader.
2. Start a fresh Reddit thread (on the same subreddit, if possible) sharing helpful tips or success stories related to your brand. If community rules allow, subtly reference your business.
Thank you for these tips. I'm afraid to respond again and end up kicking the hornet's nest.. I think enabling new content to outrank it would be better. I will check out those tools. I know it's a fine balance bc redditors will flag immediately when posts are not actually organic.
If anyone knows a freelancer who is a Reddit ninja, that'd be ace 🥷
update: for $5k, Guaranteed Removals will take care of it 😂
