Just finished lean startup - it was a banger.

Now looking at reading Skin in the Game - would you recommend?
Haven't seen many people talk about it...

Lean startup was extemely in when the book launched and was the defacto software development methodology for most tech startups until 2015ish.

But no startup today (that’s doing well) I know of follows its practices now. There is a lot more deliberate planning and vigorous user research that precedes the software thats shipped these days

In other words, we are in a weird hybrid state between lean and waterfall, where it’s more skewed towards the latter these days than former

@Atif Raza lean startup is good for finding local maxima but need conviction paired with intuition for global maxima.

Apple would have never been able to build iphones if they had followed lean startup.
