Hi Gildre community! Is there anyone here who’s successfully filed patent(s)? Specifically could use some advice on utility patents, but the process in general will be helpful.
If you have any first-hand experience here, or know someone who’s been through it, would appreciate the connection!

My approach is: Begin with data -> Consult with team/mentors -> then decide by intuition 🦠

Welcome Javon, love the idea! I’d encourage you to include the mission/what DRIVEx is about at the top of (or anywhere in) your site; right now I’m a bit confused seeing your site as it begins with– and is focused on– the sale, without telling me what you’re selling.
What is DRIVEx, what makes you different and why should I join? You have a great answer for it in this post. Let your audience know it too!
Just my two cents. Welcome to the community, and best wishes for the future!

Hi– a little advice from fellow founders/solopreneurs?
I’m a technical founder and up until recently my only focus has been software development/project management. But lately there’s so many things on my radar as a solo founder, and it’s been challenging to stay organized as my days are spent context-switching a lot. This in itself, I quite enjoy, as I’m out of my comfort zone and it’s a good challenge. But I find myself yearning for my time to be a little more organized/optimized as it used to be when my focus was purely software dev/project management.
Any tips on staying organized? I have an Airtable where I try to document everything I need, but it’s far from ideal at the moment for optimizing on time management. Thought I might try Motion
. Has anyone used this?#06_social - January 08, 2025 at 08:42 PM

@Valentina thanks for this reminder, 100% relate with both the workaholic part, and… that 😵💫. What I’m doing this year- watching out for early warning signs so I can be more proactive. For me, the warning signs look like trouble sleeping, excessive caffeine intake, pacing and irritability.
That hyper-fixation you mention, fueled by passion for our what we do, makes it difficult to always realize when I’ve crossed that threshold into unhealthy energy levels, so my focus is to identify them at the earliest sign so I can immediately correct the imbalance.
Glad to hear you’ve bounced back, here’s to harnessing that energy, keeping the balance and crushing 2025! 🎉
