Hey everyone, I had some open conversations with some of you and wanted to post in here to let everyone know I will be getting back with them this week. My wife and I had a car accident when someone ran through a red light. Took a little time to recover but we are both safe and okay.

Chris - my 2 cents from going through pitches the last 3 months - 1. I would be prepared to share a breakdown (not in the slide deck, but an addendum) that breaks down your TAM, SAM and SOM. Your SOM is so large, that you'll need to share how you go to that obtainable number.
2. You are sharing your live plan revenue but I would be prepared to show them how you got to those Jan 25 numbers and what your sales cycle/plan metrics to get to those user numbers are calculated.
3. I would be prepared to also share some of your cost/expense numbers. How much are you spending on prod. dev?
4. Last, tying off of 3, you are asking for $500k. I would have a detailed addendum prepared to share showing where that $500k is going towards and how it will keep you in positive cash flow for a 12-18m. runway.

Sales drives everything BUT in my industry, there are significant workforce shortages so my target client would say Skilled Employees. I spend more of my free time than I'd like to admit thinking about the labor force and how technology could enhance our productivity.

• Where you’re from: Small, rural community in Kansas. Currently located in the Kansas City area.
• Professional/Educational Background: B.S Architectural Eng. (University of Kansas) - Rock Chalk!
• Interesting/Fun Fact: I have a little 4 year old daughter and two labs at home so my family life is important and vital to everything I do. I spent 10 years as a Site Manager/Project Manager for a large design/build company. Traveling around the country for most of that time managing large industrial/commercial/federal projects.

• Current startup/company: Papertalk.ai is a voice-activated field reporting and automation platform for construction subcontractors. We enable them to use their voice to generate final documents, automating the transformation of spoken inputs into comprehensive reports and seamlessly integrating this information across various workflow platforms, enhancing efficiency and connectivity.

Why I was interested in joining Gildre:
• I started my entrepreneurship journey 10-months ago. Going from a long corporate career to the startup founder lifestyle has been fulfilling, rewarding, etc.... but it can also be lonely and difficult. Having a community to express all of the misc. startup founder thoughts with others that are going through the same journey or have done it themselves... that is my main reason for joining.
Where I could use support:
• We just finalized pre-seed funding. Time to execute our 6-month, 12-month launch plans for growth. Advice, counseling focused around sales/marketing for this crucial post-funding window.
