Hello, fellow Gildre-ites; Stoked to be here and looking forward to connecting with you!
Background:
• My name is ohannon "Joh/Joe" Olson (Swedish descent), and I’m based in San Francisco, where I'm a native going back three generations to the homesteaders (rare - but there are a few of us!)
• I'm a Registered Nurse, board-certified healthcare executive, and dual-MBA
• I spent the first 5 years of my career as an Operating Room Nurse, then 15 in executive healthcare management and leadership, retiring from Stanford Healthcare as a hospital administrator (and construction project manager - long story) when the businesses we founded needed more of my attention.
• Since then, my partner/wife and I have built a portfolio of businesses, including e-commerce, hospitality (our restaurant group), service businesses, and my executive coaching practice serving healthcare business owners. We also hold commercial and residential real estate in the US and Europe.
What I’m working on:
• I am currently building (more ), the coaching and education practice I mentioned. We soft-launched in October and now have 19 clients; please let me know if you know anyone who could benefit from working together.
• Our six-year-old son is on the ski team this year, so that's keeping our weekends busy!
• I’m a long-time skier and snowboarder, just now trying my hand as an instructor and coach at Sugar Bowl (Tahoe) this year and learning a lot!
How I can help:
• I joined Gildre to help you, by contributing by sharing my stories and experience. I'm also looking forward to onnecting with and learning from you.
• I’m a subject matter expert in healthcare leadership, e-commerce, hospitality, consulting, coaching, education and American entrepreneurialism generally.
• I’m invested in several communities and often know experts who can help, even if I'm not able to directly. Ask me anything, and I'll endeavor to further your cause.
Where I could use support:
• I would benefit from learning from and with other coaches who have scaled their practice.
