Hey guys, thanks for setting up the one year look back meeting. Piggybacking on Sapir's suggestion, wonder if there's a mechanism to do "Intentional Introductions" -- which is beyond the random virtual coffee pairing. I don't have a solution in mind, but there's gotta be someway to identify (maybe during on boarding?) key axis for introductions that matters most to those individuals. e.g. for me it might be :
1. Would love to meet, network with folks in my startup journey (2 year founder, bootstrapped, potentially looking to raise -- heck someone who's in the should I or should I not raise debate)
2. Geography -- living in Bangalore, startup in the US
3. Tech co-founders who're figuring their way into sales and marketing
At the close of the call as I was typing this @Brian Lee maybe you did mention that you're looking to bring on a platform that might help solve this.
Hi Shyam - great feedback and yes absolutely! We’re looking at a couple different platforms now that we can natively integrate into our slack space to help facilitate more intentional introductions.
Our monthly Speed-Networking sessions will continue to focus on larger group events but our aim is to increase the number of ongoing 1:1 introductions not just facilitated through Michael, Taiga or myself.
Our hope is to launch this in the coming month so more details to come shortly! But if you all have any suggestions or know a platform that you enjoy please feel free to share with us and we can take a look.
