I’ve been quietly beta testing something I call UX Office Hours, and I’m excited to share I’m opening this offering up to more founders and product teams! What is it?

UX Office Hours is an affordable, actionable one hour consultation with a Senior UX Engineer on a tricky design problem you’d like help with getting un-stuck.

The test sessions I’ve done so far have been great. I’ve really enjoyed seeing my clients leave feeling energized and ready to tackle something, with an idea or some knowledge they didn’t have before.

My goal is for everyone who signs up for a consultation with me to come away with an action plan for at least one way to move forward—if not more than one!

To sign up, visit my studio’s website, craftandcontext.io, and find UX Office Hours listed under services, and fill out a brief intake form. I may reach out to you with follow up questions, to help me better prepare for our session!

This is great Dan! Congrats on the launch - what are some of the common design challenges you see tech founders facing whether it's with an app or web platform?

Great question!

I’ve had some conversations around how to improve the look and feel of a signup page—to convey the brand in a better light, and improve conversion rates.

I’ve also spoken with a founder about potential ways to onboard beta test users to a complicated system, before they’ve reasonably had time to build a polished and simplified onboarding workflow.

Or, I’ve had a high level conversation with someone who has the start of something interesting, but it needs a little more direction—both for the app, and for its users.

Also, a lot of interesting challenges around what valuable things to do with AI.

What about you? What design challenges do you see most often?
