Just sold my first ticket for my indie game dev playtesting event. I have 3 tiers,
1. Rupee Free (General admission, free access) Keeps the funnel open for anyone. Game Devs and attendees playing games.
2. Kokiri Beta (For game devs who want light exposure and some guidance).
3. Master Sword Beta (For game devsbuilders who want deep insights, traction and strategy).
These events were originally designed to be a funnel system to find game dev and animation folks in the bay area. They since then have taken a life of their own. This is also part of my broader business plan. Where selling memberships and getting sponsors for these events will also create cashflow. And my funnel system creates high signal warm leads that turn into clients for marketing and community management work.
But the biggest challenge is setting up systems, automation and pushing the marketing...
anyways, Im big on celebrating any wins. and selling 1 ticket is a win. Especially since i haven't paid for any advertising. It's all my community outreach work. (which is labor heavy but creates organic growth).
Once i figure this out i can work on the animation side of things...
Congrats <@U092KSPMAAU>! What are you using for automations? We've been digging more into Zapier for a lot of processes and it's been helpful for both agentic and standard automating

@Berk C. Celebisoy gave me the reminder i needed. as he does.
I am using Zapier for automation but im still tooling around with it. The biggest things i need automated are auto emails once someone registers for VIP access and pulling marketing and registration reports...
the manual labor on the backend eats up an incredible amount of time.
